The role of the Stockbridge Business Association (SBA)

Our purpose and aims

The aim of the SBA is to provide a united body and voice for the many businesses in and around Stockbridge. Our purpose is to support and promote our members’ businesses to as wide an audience as possible. Helping Stockbridge remain and grow as a sustainable business hub is at the very core of everything that we do.

We work in partnerships with local businesses, and other local organisations, in order to support both the members of our Association as well as to support, wherever practicable, the local residents.

The SBA meets quarterly to discuss matters of interest and concern to our membership. On a regular basis outside speakers are invited to address various aspects of business development be it social media, regulatory, security or advice on a wide spectrum of opportunities such as business networking.

The SBA is a member of the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce allowing all of our members to benefit from the many services and offerings that the Chamber provides. As an Association we are able to unify our membership in achieving discounts on purchasing services such as advertising.

The SBA enjoys very good relationships with the Economic Development Team at Hampshire County Council and we are regularly in touch with our local MP Caroline Nokes.

The SBA also operates a discount scheme for its members as well as a High Street security alert service.
